I recently posted a feature about Rose, an 8 year old from Willesley School who had swum 250 metres in Lake Windermere & raised £200.76 to support Liverpool Community Junior School.

After discussions with both parties it was agreed that we would purchased extra chairs for the Junior School library, and Rose’s donation meant we were able to buy 22 new chairs. The picture below tells its own story –

The staff had printed the pictures that Rose’s parents had sent me so that the Waterloo children understood how Rose had raised the money and, as you can see, the children were really pleased with her donation.
