I recently attended the school’s Harvest Festival service which, once again, saw St Helens church packed to capacity. The school have been supporting me since May 2017. It was a lovely service, with all the children taking part, and I gave the children and parents an update from their “link” school, Liverpool Community Junior School.

In the last  year Willesley School have funded the purchase of over 400 textbooks, the first ever books at the school, and with a fundraiser from Rose, who took part in the Great North Swim in Lake Windermere, we were able to complete the purchase of library chairs.

The retiring collection raised £241 and we will therefore be able to buy an additional 80 textbooks for the Liverpool Junior School – MANY thanks to all the children, parents and staff for their continued support. Below is a message from the Headteacher, Solomon –
