It hardly seems possible BUT just 2 weeks after starting work on the soakaway pit for the new Junior Secondary toilet block at Banbury International Community School the pit has been dug and built. Amazing when you remember that EVERYTHING is done manually, including making all the concrete blocks. The pit is 12 x 8 feet and was dug to a depth of 14 feet – all done by pick & shovel, using a bucket and rope system to remove 38 cubic metres of spoil. They will start to form the base today and then start the building.
