The new toilet block is literally “taking shape” at Banbury International Community School in Waterloo, Freetown. Work started last Wednesday with the digging of the pit to form a septic tank. The pit measures 12 feet x 8 feet and is 12 feet deep !! It is being dug by pick and shovel and will result in 33 cubic metres of soil being removed. Last Sunday they also started making the concrete blocks to form the pit.
