I have recently returned from my 15th trip to Sierra Leone, during which we started to build a Hostel for some of the teachers. Currently many of them are travelling long distances, by public transport, to get to the school and it is  accounting for nearly 20% of their monthly wage. There will be 7 single bedrooms, a communal lounge and both a female and male toilet/washroom. Prior to me arriving I had sent some funds so they could make all the concrete blocks and prepare the foundation trenches.

The progress in just 5 weeks is really impressive especially as everything on site is done manually. We will resume the build in the New Year as funds permit.
